Through the effective management of medical and indemnity costs to the lowest possible level, the individual Agency’s experience factor is decreased thereby reducing total premiums paid for workers compensation coverage.

Dividend Refunds

Member Agencies are eligible for a refund of premium paid that is not needed for workers compensation claims and managed expenses.  Dividends paid to members have averaged 35% of their annual premium.  The HSAWCF has returned over $21 million to member agencies since its inception.

Claims Management/Loss Prevention

Member Agencies receive claims management services designed to eliminate preventable workers compensation claims, create a safer workplace environment and monitor reserves for claims when they do occur.  The HSAWCF provides training seminars to the agencies which educate both management and staff in the area of loss control prevention.
